An ode to unpredictability: Aby Watson has dyslexia and dyspraxia, neurodiverse conditions that prevent her actions and movements from (always) going according to plan. In a wonderfully dysfunctional solo performance, she works with objects such as helium balloons and space hoppers, which have their own unpredictable qualities. -ish translates into visual metaphors what it feels like to live with a hidden difference, while questioning the murky territory that dyspraxia resides in-between perceptions of disability and non-disability. An unapologetic exploration and playful interrogation of the liminal space between two opposing states.

RELAXED PERFORMANCE

Relaxed Performances are for those who feel more comfortable in a sensory relaxed atmosphere. The light in the auditorium is on to avoid complete darkness. In addition, hearing protection is provided if it gets too loud. Those who wish can come and go during the show. Silence and sitting still is not mandatory. Those who need a break can retire to the foyer.
