A high-speed show with musical elements, drag, lip-sync and acrobatics: on the threshold between art and entertainment, four dancers show that bodies are as changeable as identities. In a charade of gender roles and stereotypes, disguise and revelation, they take the audience on a rollercoaster ride of references. VINCENT RIEBEEK, born 1988 in the Netherlands, studied choreography at SNDO Amsterdam and received the danceWeb scholarship at Impulstanz Vienna in 2010. Since 2010 he has been working with Florentina Holzinger. Their joint duet Kein Applaus für Scheiße attracted international attention and toured through European festivals. Their work Spirit (2012) premiered at Campo/Gent in October 2012 and was shown at Sophiensæle in 2013. Other works by him include Soli like Justice or Come Clean life and the duet NewDust with Michele Rizzo. At Tanztage Berlin 2015 he showed his solo Flaming Lamborghini. Schönheitsabend, again with Florentina Holzinger, was shown at Sophiensæle in 2016, and at The Greatest Show on Earth (also in 2016) the two commented on their joint work biography as a tightrope act. Vincent recently graduated with a Master's degree in Theatre from the Amsterdam School of Art. One of a Kind is the result of two years of research and is shown throughout Europe.

Vincent Riebeek studied dance at the School for New Dance Development and Theatre at DASarts. Since he has presented work in Europe and abroad and received praise for making provocative work that balances a fine line between art and entertainment. He graduated with a MA in Theatre from Dasarts, Amsterdam (2018). His graduation work One of a Kind was shown in theatres in several European cities and is currently still touring. In 2019 he taught at the Spring Academy (Utrecht) and the master course for dancers LaCollectiz in Tel Aviv where he created the opening performance for Diver festival with the students. After completing a series of residencies in 2019–2020 at Tanzhaus Zürich and Arsenic Lausanne, he presented the resultant work entitled The desire to create something that already exists at Frascati Amsterdam. in 2021 he danced for Singaporean artist Choy Ka Fay in his piece Post Colonial Spirits that premiered at Tanz Im August in Berlin.
